Mold Welding Machines are specialized high-performance welding equipment designed for mold repair and manufacturing. Mold Welding Machines integrate high performance, high precision, and high efficiency, substantially elevating the overall level of mold repair and manufacturing. They are widely applied in the welding, repair, and new production of various molds, including plastic molds, metal molds, and rubber molds.
The Principle of Laser Processing: The laser emitted from the laser generator goes through a series of treatments. After being focused by a lens, the energy becomes highly concentrated in a very small area. If the material being processed has good absorption of this laser, the material in the irradiated area will rapidly heat up due to the absorption of the laser energy. Depending on the material properties (such as melting point, boiling point, and the temperature at which chemical changes occur), the workpiece will undergo a series of physical or chemical changes, such as melting, vaporization, formation of oxides, discoloration, etc. This is the principle of laser processing.
The mold welding machine is equipped with a laser head that can be manually raised and lowered, as well as an electrically-driven work table, enabling laser welding processing of molds of different thicknesses. It is particularly suitable for laser cladding of various high-precision injection molds, laser repair of precision plastic mold components, and laser brazing of beryllium-copper mold parts. It can be used to perform laser restoration for wear and tear on molds during use; it plays a critical role in correcting machining errors, EDM errors, and design changes in mold degumming, helping to make up for the significant losses caused by processing mistakes.
